Our Riptide is out of commission, sadly. We had some friends over and decided to try launching our newest model, Hijinks, along with old reliable Riptide. On our first launch of Riptide, it was carried pretty far south thanks to the wind but avoided the trees. We moved a few hundred feet north, and launched again, but Riptide came down right over a narrow strip of forest and is snagged in the top of one of the tallest trees.
Testing our luck, we gave Hijinks a turn. Yes, the definition of insanity is trying the same thing and expecting a different result. Judge as you may, we didn't want to give up. On its inaugural mission, Hijinks luckily cleared the tree line but soared far away out of the park into our neighbor's yard. After the recovery crew brought Hijinks back to the command center, we aborted all further missions for that evening!
