Picky Eater Prince

My kids are big into imaginary play. Costumes and characters abound. I admit I think I have a strong influence on their love of acting out their favorite stories and both my husband and I use scenes from their favorite books to get them to complete daily tasks.

That's why I love this spin on the bento box lunch: a Frog Prince lunch in a muffin tin. I learned about this post from the excellent site ChickDuckGoose. Sure it takes a little extra work, but when you tackle things that can be a struggle (like feeding dinner to our picky eater) a creative approach can often work wonders.

My Food Notebook was one creative approach that worked for us. I'm hosting a contest during the month of February and the prize is a free copy of My Food Notebook for two lucky winners! To enter, all you have to do is share in the comments section what food your picky eater eats that surprises you the most. Make sure you enter before the contest ends on February 28, 2013!
