Ask My Kids
Kids have such a refreshing perspective on life. A few days ago, my middle son said, "You know what we should do, Mom? Stop calling them Christmas lights, just call them lights. Take down only the snowflakes and icicles, because those are really winter designs, and just leave the lights up year-round. They are so beautiful."What a great idea. It's less work for me and a great way to prolong the enjoyment.
Parents are always telling their kids what they need to do, what they should do, what they have to do. But I love hearing what kids think. And not just my kids, all kids have ideas. We grown-ups could listen a little more. So if you have a problem, need advice, or want some help, just Ask My Kids!
